Nakusp & District Chamber
of Commerce is a service organization which supports the
business community by promoting the Arrow Lakes region
economically, socially and environmentally. Businesses of the
region are represented at local, provincial and national levels
of government through the British Columbia and Canadian Chambers
of Commerce.

Kootenay Association for
Science & Technology (KAST) is a registered non-profit
society whose members live and work throughout the West Kootenay-Boundary
region and represent a broad range of interests in local
industry, business, education and government. With over 300
members, KAST has become an important resource for promoting
science and technology in the region.

Kootenay
Library Federation (KLF) is comprised of 19 public libraries
situated in the Boundary and the East and West Kootenays. The
libraries work co-operatively to improve library service in the
region by collaboration on projects, sharing of resources and
support for all members.

Nakusp
Public Library has expanded into the full top floor of the
Centennial Building, and now offers: comfortable seating and study space for patrons
of all ages, six computers with internet access, space for
artists to display their work, meeting space for the community,
and room for the collection to grow.

Arrow Lakes
Toastmasters - In a fun supportive environment, the Toastmaster
program helps you develop communication skills and open doors in
your personal and professional life. Meetings are held on the
2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, from 7-9 pm at Selkirk
College on Broadway Street in Nakusp.
